At Martinheiras, we strive for peace and quiet. This is why we are boutique and small. We pride ourselves on personalisation and making our guests feel completely at home, with all the luxuries of a true holiday. Please scroll down for more information about the accommodation we offer.

 

We provide all linens, towels and kitchen equipment. Wifi is available, although limited due to the nature of where we are set- but that was nature's decision - not ours.

Casa Do Jardim is a little guest house with a private double bed, loft bed in the living room, private kitchen with stove of 4 hobs, refrigerator, living space, indoor and outdoor dining,  bathroom & private terrace. 

This house is perfect for:

2 adults & 2 kids (under 12)

OR:

3 adults

It has a beach umbrella, small cool box and a capsule coffee machine. It is approximately 65 sqm in size.

** there is no freezer or oven as we are a solar house, but there is a gas oven in the communal kitchen you can also use.

** we are a solar house no hairdryers / curling irons or anything with heat maybe used.

Quarto Do Patio is a quaint room with a double bed or two twin beds. It has a private en suite bathroom and it is located in the courtyard of  the property.

Quarto Da Sobreira is a room with an ensuite bathroom situated at the top of the property with spectacular views.  There is a fire place inside which is ideal for Winter or Autumn. The communal kitchen is right next door which makes it ideal for a couple with a small child.

THE YURT

Our Yurt is currently being built and this is the first year we will be renting it out.

 

The Yurt sleeps 2 people and one small child under 5 years old on a separate mattress. 

It has a shared compost toilet and shower* situated about 20 metres away on a path.

It is a 6.2 metre yurt, 30 sqm. and it is located on the quiet north side of the property with breathtaking views.

 

Our yurt has solar lights but no other electricity so you can star gaze galore. Charging devices can be done only in the day time and in the communal kitchen.

The communal kitchen at Martinheiras serves our two rooms and the Yurt to make lunch and dinner if you need.

The kitchen has a shared fridge, cupboards to store your things, 4 hob burner, condiments for you to use. It has indoor seating and an outdoor area with shade which has the most spectacular view.

For those staying in a yurt the kitchen also has charging stations for mobile phones and ipads.

Note: Check in is at 3pm on arrival and 11am on departure.
